Dr Sharma has 40 years of experience as a doctor in general medical practice. Following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, he integrates his conventional orthodox training and experience with lifestyle, nutritional and Eastern diagnostic systems and complementary therapies.
He has a special interest in working with chronic disease and its underlying causes, particularly CFS/ME, cancer and other difficult conditions that respond poorly to conventional medicine.
He has a strong understanding of the psycho-spiritual aspects of ill health and combines physical and psychological advice in his consultations. He is involved in environmental health screening such as metal toxicity, food allergy, pollution, etc. Dr Sharma’s focus is on optimising health through nutritional and non-drug medicine. He has been the Secretary and Education Director of the British Society for Ecological Medicine. Many of his patients consider him the family doctor as he is a generalist working with all medical conditions.
Over the years, he has provided content and support to the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and other media outlets. He continues to provide regular care to many globally acclaimed celebrities. During his career, as Medical Director at the Hale Clinic and The Diagnostic Clinic, he has forged new care initiatives which include the impact of genomics and the environment in optimising patient protocols, treatment and care plans.
He is a Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy and is a Peer Review Board Member for the London Anti-Ageing conferences held each year. Dr Sharma is the service provider and Manager for Dr Sharma Diagnostics Ltd and is certified with the Care Quality Commission under the Health and Social Care Act. He is a GMC-registered medical practitioner (No. 2919995). Dr Sharma is a Member of The Faculty of Homeopathy and a Member of the British Society for Ecological Medicine and The College of Medicine.
